you never, ever, EVER get caught drinking unless you're just plain dumb.

after an exciting weekend in the EL, I am very very grateful that my 21st birthday is only a mere 39 days away. me and the girls went to a party, and were picked up to be transported back to their house on marigold. and we got pulled over. pretty sure I was the only underage kid in the car, and the cop made me so nervous. no speeding or anything, but it was obvious that the driver was distracted-- apparantly. so he had her get out, because he said the smell of alcohol was protruding from the car and he couldn't tell if it was her. thank god he just let us go with a warning. I'm a lucky, lucky girl.

nothing like that would ever happen in the ace deuce.

it was a good weekend though!! i like going home for a couple days, but i could've done with maybe one less. love my parents, but I really appreciate my apartment and my own independence here in ann arbor. i love it :)

hmmm, can I really keep this up??

So, in an attempt to keep in touch with people from afar over the summer... I think I'm actually going to start posting on this thing again. More than livejournal. Cause you know, the livejournal thing didn't last very long.

In other news, I came across this thing on a random day that I got sent home from Stucchi's and went to Julie's to be bored... and it's funny how much crap I posted. ...and how much of it is still true. For example, refer, ironically, to the post that I put up exactly a year ago.

-I finally learned how to dance... well sort of, if you count the SAI formal w/ Mattie
-I still love to dance and sing around to music, but now it's more like country with Julie.
-I still can't go without touching my hair for more than two seconds when dancing or doing anything else. like breathing.
-I still wish I could tan without getting sunpoisoning
-I still wish I could sew
-I HAD a cat in my apartment for a week, and it didn't exactly turn out as planned... I want a kitten I can raise with normal mannerisms.
-Daisies are still pretty sweet, but I think lillies and irises and roses are a little bit better ;)
-there's no such thing as liking the color pink, or sex and the city too much!!
-there was never anything wrong with country music, or singing the harmony when it's not there.
-I still wish I could wake up in the morning and see without contacts or glasses.
-I finally got used to the water that comes out of the fridge @ home.
-I'm obsessed with milk.

so there's that. and that's all I have the energy for tomorrow. I have to monitor an eating contest tomorrow... peter and ben are crazy.
